This story is so heart-wrenching, I had to cry.At the Garden of Gethsemane, he had to cry. He had to fall on his knees and grieved. He saw what was going to happen to him, he had to ask. He had to ask God to take the cup away from him. But he had also asked for God's will to be done.
In front of Pilate, they had to judge him. He was innocent! 'Crucify him!', the crowd had to demand that. They had to choose Barabbas over him. They had to crucify him, for the truth that he spoke.
Jesus had to die so you and I can be alive. Today as we live the life that we thought was right for us, we had to forget the heart-wrenching tale about the man who gave his life for us.
Why do you deny him?
